Admission to medical and dental courses in Tamil Nadu, started on Wednesday, 18 October. This is the first time that The 7.5% seats reservation for government school, students was implemented. 951 students were eligible. 267 were called for counselling on day one. Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy handed over the allotment letters to the first 18 students. He also gave a kit with white coats and stethoscope.
